MTB-R1 modular bed rack
Currently leaning
WOLFBOX
Researching
Current preference — no decision made
Concept render — not a photograph
Why this option
Lift-up MOLLE panels, T-slot compatibility and an open modular frame — chosen so the rack can be reconfigured as the truck's job changes, instead of committing now to one fixed accessory layout.

Hard-sided bed topper — model TBD
Rough Country
Researching
Under comparison against the rack — model not chosen
Concept render — not a photograph
Why this option
A different answer to the same question. Where the rack leaves the bed open and carries gear on top of it, the topper encloses the bed entirely: lockable, dry, and usable as secure storage on a truck that will be towing to campsites. Rendered alongside the rack so the two can be judged as the different propositions they are.
Where it currently stands
Closes off the bed. Tall or awkward loads that would sit on an open rack no longer fit, and roof-load capacity on a topper is lower than a bed rack rated to carry across the bed rails. The specific model, and whether it clears the Raptor-spec bedsides, is unresolved.

ACS Forged Tonneau bed rack system
Leitner Designs
Researching
Why this option
Combines a load-bearing rack with lockable bed-side storage boxes and a tonneau in one system — arguably more capability per inch of bed than a rack alone.
Where it currently stands
Considerably more expensive, and it commits the bed to one integrated system. The MTB-R1's open modular frame leaves the bed reconfigurable as the truck's job changes.

Slimline II load bed rack
Front Runner
Researching
Why this option
Enormous accessory ecosystem and a low, flat profile that suits a truck aiming for an understated look.
Where it currently stands
Flat-tray design without the lift-up MOLLE panel arrangement that made the WOLFBOX attractive for gear access from the side of the bed.
