Cracked radiator / core support

2023 Ford F-150 Tremor · 5.0L V8

Front radiator / core-support component

Chosen

Ford (OEM, used)

Installed

Installed — bought used locally, 17 Sep 2026

Why this option

Confirmed cracked on both sides during the intake inspection. This is structural and sits ahead of every cosmetic decision on the list — the Raptor front end, bumper and grille all mount to this area, so nothing forward of the firewall gets installed until it's sound.

Trade-offs

The part number on the unit still has to be confirmed against the VIN. OEM is the standing policy for collision repair on this truck — no aftermarket comparison was run, because matching the factory part is the requirement. A used support from a local yard rather than a new one from Ford; it fitted and works as it should.
