Red-lens design was chosen specifically to avoid the smoked/tinted look, keeping factory-legible lighting rather than a styling-first tint job. Fitment 2021+ F-150.

Why it wasn't chosen
Most of the range leans smoked or blacked-out. The red lens was a deliberate call to keep the lighting factory-legible to whoever is behind a 31-foot trailer, rather than a styling-first tint.

Factory fit, factory function, and correct for a Raptor conversion.
Why it wasn't chosen
The truck already has working OEM lamps, so this was OEM money to end up visually where it started. Worth noting the option itself was shakier than it looked: whether a Raptor-specific taillight part exists was never confirmed, and the same assumption proved false on the headlights, where the Gen 3 Raptor turns out to share the ML3Z-13008 family with every other 2021-2023 F-150.
